Deer Meadow Families,
We have had a busy and productive month at Deer Meadow! Thank you to everyone who donated to and participated in the PTO Walk-A-Thon. It was a huge success! Every class earned a popcorn party, which students will enjoy tomorrow.
Homecoming Week
Our students have had so much fun dressing up and celebrating Homecoming Week! Please join us for the Homecoming football game tomorrow at Greencastle High School. The game begins at 7:00 p.m., and the Tiger Cubs will take on North Montgomery.
Tomorrow morning, several Greencastle High School football players will visit Deer Meadow to read books to our students. Our Tiger Cubs are excited to welcome them and wish them good luck at the Homecoming game!
Parent-Teacher Conferences
Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place from September 28 through October 1. We value keeping families informed about their children’s progress at school. Information will be shared in one of the following ways:
- Some families will receive a conference report and student data to review at home. These families are welcome to request a conference, but a conference is not necessary at this time.
- For other students, the teacher will request an in-person, phone, or virtual conference to discuss the student’s progress and data in greater detail.

Wednesday, September 30 | 11:30 a.m.–3:25 p.m. Second Grade and Robbins
- Thursday, October 1 | 3:25–6:00 p.m.
- Evening conferences for Kindergarten, First Grade, and Second Grade
- Families with children in more than one grade level will be prioritized.

Students may wear costumes to school for our Harvest Parties on October 30. Costumes must be school-appropriate. Please remember that masks, face paint, and weapons or weapon-like accessories are not permitted.
